1. Historical Certification

1995 – Acquired the ISO certification 9001:1994;
1999 – Acquired the ISO certification 14001:1996;
2003 – Migration to the version of Rule ISO 9001:2000;
2003 – Re-certification ISO 14001:1996;
2004 – Integration of Quality and Environment Management Systems;
2004 – Re-certification ISO 2001:2000.

2. The quality of Gradiente

The customer is our starting point and our goal to be achieved. Our actions are always targeted to the customer. Each person is responsible for the quality of his work.

It is all administrators’ duty to assure the habilitation, the communication improvement, the confidence, and the team involvement, the quality increase of our products and services, as well as the dissemination of our policy to all collaborators of the organization.

The Strategic Planning is developed based on the company objectives and the action plans are defined among the areas in order to accomplish the established goals.

Gradiente has had complex processes starting with the development of new products, purchasing, manufacturing, sales and customer’s attendance. Based on that, it is necessary effective communication, defined procedures and, that the activities performed are recorded to guarantee the quality in all operation levels. Our performance is daily measured in the most relevant processes. The training is continuous and develops the capability of our collaborators.

All documentation of the Integrated Management System is available for the Organization on the Intranet and the index results are published to everybody according to their responsibilities and performance.

The Gradiente Quality brand can be confirmed by our customers, through our products of high technology and innovation. The customers’ satisfaction is our main indicator.

3. Gradiente cuidando el Medio Ambiente

The respect for the environment is promoted among our collaborators and is one of our preservation environmental policy pillars.

Among the Organization objectives and goals are:

Electric power energy consumption monitoring;
Water consumption monitoring;
Residue reduction reserved to the sanitary dirt-fill
Collaborators’ consciousness in relation to the environment preservation.

Our environment management system which, was one of the ten first to obtain the certification with the ISO 14001 in Manaus, has as a basis the natural resources rational usage, the minimized residue production and the most recyclable rate of everything produced by Gradiente.

In addition, we stimulate the selective residue collection, therefore, contributing to the environment preservation.

The environmental management plan was prepared in a simple way for easy understanding, allowing all collaborators to participate naturally in environmental activities. From the selective collection, the residues are sent to a central of residues, from where they follow to an adequate local and by licensed suppliers through the competent environmental institutions.

The training and environmental consciousness are periodically held, through lectures, movies, informative news and the company communication board. The environmental legislation is one of the requirements analyzed and disseminated throughout the whole company where the environmental aspects and impacts caused by Gradiente activities are controlled respecting the pertinent legislation. Gradiente has a computerized system to access the federal, state and municipal present legislation, which, allows the identification in accordance with the company aspects and impacts data survey that all departments can consult freely.
